As you may remember, our team was in Division 3d during the previous Season, Season 6. We completed that Season ranking first place in our division. However, there were a few default wins that contributed to our ranking. We hope that there are as many active and competitive teams in our division as possible. That way, not only our top players will be able to show their strength, but also the players from the Academy Team would be able to test their abilities.

Our goal, in this freshly started Season 7 of the SC2CL, is to ascend to Divison 1 and to get Binary Evasion into a higher spot from which it can promote its players and itself better.

Pretty much everyone who has had interest in gaming and esports knows about the streaming platform TwitchTV and has visited its website at least once. It is one of the biggest kinds in the business, that's for sure. And that is yet another reason that we are so happy to be able to stream for them.

The switch to TwitchTV has one central goal: To further work on our success at streaming, to better promote our players and to enable them to represent us more efficiently in front of an even bigger crowd.

The lan-party where our League of Legends team won the LoL tournament and with it 300 Swiss francs? Two of them were Switzerland Claudio 'PwnyFish' Polo and Switzerland Soorya 'Ttiger' Saravanamuthu who currently aren’t members of the team. But these two great players haven’t left Binary Evasion. They will forge a new team together with Switzerland Mauro 'Waschbaer' Tschanz, the ex team captain of our international team, and two new faces called Switzerland Thili 'Command3r' Saravanamuthu and Switzerland Deniz 'Teh Zonky' Tosoni.

What does that mean?
Binary Evasion is able to present another strong Swiss Leaugue of Legends team!

As we have two League of Legends team from Switzerland now and we don’t want to seperate in anything like team 1 and 2, they named themself. Our already long existing team with the captain Switzerland Robin 'TheNonsense' Renggli will be known as the „Hydra“ from now on and the new team with captain Switzerland Claudio 'PwnyFish' Polo are called „Wombats“.

Why another Swiss team?
We want to be represented at the online and offline tournaments in Switzerland. With another League of Legends team which shows a professional mindset we are looking forward to even more success.

Hey Im PwnyFish, the captain of the fresh Binary Evasion team.
Im really happy that BEV gave me the opportunity to create a team with my friends.
I used to play support for our brother team. Was really great to play with them, but i wanted to be able to play in a team with my RL friends Command3r and Ttiger.
So we could pick up Waschbaer from the Int team and found Iced Fish Czar.
i moved to toplane now, because i really like the champs that fit there and Iced Fish was used to play botlane.
So thank you BEV, you guys are awesome!

We welcome the new Italian Arctic Combat Team!

The team presents three Italy Italians and one Germany German so they’re still looking for another good player but they’re on a good way to find someone. The guys around their team captain Italy Alessandro 'a1mAlex' Casalino will play for Binary Evasion now and we're really proud to call them one of us.

Team on ESL

Arctic Combat is a tactical FPS game (free-to-play, so you might try it) which is mainly played in Germany, France, Poland and also Italy. ESL supports the game with organizing an online Arctic Combat Country Championship where all the teams can try to qualify. The countries Italy, Germany, France and Poland have their own qualifier and there is even a qualifier for all the other countries so they can try to take their chance as well.

Our new team will compete in the Italian qualifier on Tuesday the 8th January. We’re confident and hope for a first successfull competition.

The cup consists of 2 qualifiers and the playoffs. The 2 finalists in each case qualify for the playoffs to present us 4 participating teams according to that. As you could already suggested it the cup is organized for Swiss teams only. This means more than 50% members of the participating team must be Swiss citizens or currently live in Switzerland (3 of 5 at least).[break]

The cup is cancelled due to no interests. A short statement by organizer Switzerland eshA:
As I started to play the game myself some weeks ago and I really started to like it I felt it's time to organize a cup for this awesome game Dota 2. Actually I thought about a cup for Swiss teams because there are not many cups for this game, so why not. The channel "Switzerland" often shows more than 30-40 faces. I thought that would be enough for hosting a bigger cup-series where you can qualify. To be honest I think I just overrated the Swiss Dota 2 Scene. I didn't expect this to come but I don't want to blame anyone. I should have talked to the people first and check out if it makes sense to organize something like that. I'm still looking forward and I think the day will come where the Swiss Dota 2 scene is more than ready. Thanks for your understanding.



Qualifiers
Qualifiers are played as a BO1 single elimination bracket. The top 2 players will qualify for the playoffs.

Playoffs
The 4 qualified teams will play against each other in a bo3 double elimination bracket. The final will be played as a BO5, but the team which didn’t drop a loss at that point will have a 1-0 lead.

He has contributed enormously in many ways throughout his stay. But sadly, the ShootMania team, as a whole, has decided to go separate ways. They will form their own team.

Switzerland Igor, Switzerland rrring and Switzerland siRtobey are going to leave Binary Evasion.

Switzerland Igor has always done an amazing job: He has helped since the very beginning of 2012 by leading the CounterStrike 1.6 team. He was not very appealed to CS:GO at the date of its release, so the switch to ShootMania took place instead. For this purpose, he assembled a new team and took great care of it ever since; as a leader as well as a player.
This goes without saying, but the same goes for Switzerland rrring and Switzerland siRtobey.

They made this decision in order to realize their own visions. Of course, we respect their decision. It is not easy to see them go, but wanting to take off is a very understandable thing, and we want to encourage them to reach new heights.

We are happy that Binary Evasion was able to provide a platform for them to grow. We sincerely thank these fine folks for sticking with us for so long and wish them best of luck in their future projects.


So, there goes Binary Evasion's only team that represented us in the first person shooter (FPS) game section. But, as you might know, we will make sure to take care of that gap, and reenter the FPS genre as soon as we can. Our Swiss team captain Switzerland Robin 'TheNonsense' Renggli is back online again! And he has returned with a good plan on how to make his League of Legends stream more interesting: Starting in the new year, he will be streaming together with his brother Switzerland Silvan 'Spinzaku' Renggli, following a specific and, most importantly, regular streaming schedule. Sure sounds like fun!

Unless the world really ends on December 21st, at the end of the current cycle in the Mayan calendar (which is very unlikely in our opinion), we will get to enjoy more League of Legends Streaming after the turn of the year, the one that leads into 2013.

As mentioned earlier, Switzerland TheNonsense will be joined by his brother Switzerland Spinzaku, who is also playing in the same team, during his streaming sessions. The two brothers will guarantee a running stream according to the following schedule:

- Tuesday, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and
- Thursday, also from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- They will also be streaming on weekends, but on a more flexible schedule.

During these two streaming sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, the two brothers will be focusing primarily on entertainment value. Both of them will also have their own web cam.

This streaming schedule has several advantages and good points: First and foremost, their streaming action is not going to be randomly placed during the course of the weeks. You, as the spectator, will know in advance when to tune in and when to reserve some of your free time. This way, your viewer experience can happen on a regular basis, just like in the case of a good TV show.

Because it sure seems like Santa Claus was here! Binary Evasion gets its own expansion pack of a special kind: Exactly two new people will be joining what acts like the glue that keeps Binary Evasion working: The Staff.

In this news, we would like to introduce Switzerland Sandro 'Zelos' Detig and Switzerland Alex 'Allega' Lehmann to the Staff, and what tasks they will be undertaking in the future.

As already mentioned, there are two new young and enthusiastic people volunteering to help:
One of them is Switzerland Sandro 'Zelos' Detig, 19 years old. He belongs to the League of Legends players and enjoys casting LoL matches. That is also the task he will be doing for us: Casting League of Legends. He will be doing that in Swiss German for now.

The other joining person is Switzerland Alex 'Allega' Lehmann. He is 15 years old, but seems quite mature for his age in our opinion. Allega will be responsible for covering future events that Binary Evasion and its members visit by taking pictures and short videos.
On top of that, he already knows most of our players and staff members and is very eager to participate and contribute. We wouldn't want it any other way.


Thank them both, and, of course, everyone in the Staff, for taking the time and wanting to help Binary Evasion in its endeavors! We sure are looking forward to the boost in our production value. Do not worry, Binary Evasion has not lost him or anything. He just needs time to focus on another "endeavor". What exactly that is shall remain a secret for now. In any case, you should soon hear from him again.

His place in the Swiss LoL team will be taken by somebody new: Switzerland Marco 'Origanoo' Badertscher!

We suppose the introduction already covered the most important details about Switzerland Pwnyfish, so let us go ahead and focus on the new member and player Switzerland Marco 'Origanoo' Badertscher.

Switzerland Origanoo is 14 years old and goes to the same school as Switzerland Devanthar, his future bottom lane playmate. He may still be a little bit unexperienced and may not know in every possible situation what the best call would be, but this is nothing that good and consistent training couldn't handle.

Also, he and the other team members know each other already, so they will probably not need as much time to get used to the new composition.

Statment Robin 'TheNonsense' Renggli:
The addition of Origanoo as our new support makes the whole of us happy. He is not also a good friend of ours outside of the game, but also brings something new to the team. While he lacks the extensive knowledge of the game pwnyfish provided us with, Origanoo is young, wild and unpredictable. He's hungry for plays and knows how to make something happen. We're really happy with his performance so far and hope to grow and achieve great things in the coming season! As for his lack in experience, that'll come with time. Let's make it a good time!

Hi! I'm a class mate of Devanthar's and so I already know about the team Binary Evasion. I played a lot earlier times with him and his team mates and that's why it was my dream to play once with them together in a team.
